is there a way to make it conform to a 1024 x 768 resolution to fit the full browser window? I have a lot of wasted space on one side of this site when browsing as I have my monitor set to 1024 x 768.

its set up to make full use of the most common resolutions, 800x600 and 1024x768. if they made it just for 1024 and up, it would look horrible for 640x480 and 800x600 users |

I have seen some sites that resize as your resolution resizes but I didn't know if that was too complicated a web design or maybe it would eat up too much space on the server or something.
Just curious :-) |

You could use Opera as your web browser and view the site at >100% size.

Don't maximize your browser. Pull the left in so that it fits in the window properly. I'm using 1280x1024 and that's how I vew the site. As far as redesigning the site, its sometimes difficult to create a website that expands and contracts based on the width of the browser, its usually easier to just pick a set size, such as 800x600 and work with that.
