By far, people are my favorite subjects to photograph. If you look at the walls in my home, they are littered with shots of family and friends. When I'm on vacation, I take pictures of buildings, scenery and other things, but I find the keepers are always the ones with myself, my wife, or others in the shot. When I look back at them they conjure up memories of the day we had rather than just what we saw.
With that being said, I've uploaded some new photo's to my 'friends and family' folder.
I'd love to get some comments on what you like and what you don't.

Thanks for looking.

RE: I love to photograph people
People are overrated. Woodies are much better to photograph - they can usually hold a pose for an infinite amount of time, they work cheap, don't talk back AND you can light them on fire. :P
Left you a few comments. Overall, they are excellent! |

When I'm on vacation I prefer the photos without any tourists in them. ;oP |

Please, ignore our buddy Art... woodies are nice, but they don't have wallets! People shooting is where my heart is because, well, they have more money than palm trees. ;)

I would love to photograph people however I know no one in real life to be a model, can't pay for one, and I feel very uncomfortable photographing strangers. Then I've heard rumors that some states here consider any photograph of a female of any age without prior written contract to be sexual harassment, even if in public and it just so happens it is the females my eye most fancies, lol...

A huge pitfall out there in the world of photographers (for models, etc.) is the number of shooters who only buy a camera in hopes of getting chicks naked in front of it. In my years meeting pros, believe me, I've met many. Some get very very good at what they do, but they still have one goal. Many female models and mothers of models are VERY wary of this type and this fear has driven the attitude toward street paparazzi. As a female, I've never encountered this shyness on the street, but I have been with male friends and watched the difference. As a male, you have a hurdle to overcome right from the start. NOT oggling the pretty girls and being interested in EVERY face is a good start.

Whaaaaa but the guys aren't nearly as pretty *pouts*!! Seriously though, that is probably another thing bothering me, really the last thing on my mind is anything "improper" of a gentlemen however being a guy I'll get branded that way regardless. Maybe I should do the opposite, plan on getting arrested and just not care about the outcome and maybe I will walk away with some good shots xD
