I'm going to build a new workstation/desk.
I was looking online and found these "BIOMORPH Workstations" Very cool stuff!!!! Here
I have an 8'x8' corner I want to fill. The desk will hold an iMac and eventually a second monitor I want to keep it looking very clean and open. I plan to make the keyboard shelf adjustable like the biomorphs kinda based off the Pro or Personal models. Add flush mounted speakers and hidden storage for external harddrives and stuff like that.
What are your likes and dislikes about your setup? What would you have different if you had the choice? What size keyboard shelf would be comfortable for a keyboard, mouse, and a tablet. And what about a cup holder now that I won̢۪t have my cd tray anymore where does the coffee go?
Let me know what you think. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Never thought about lighting! Some LEDs under the monitors to light up the keyboard tray would be very cool and useful. Thx david for the link.

| Or just get a backlit keyboard. |

I have come up with a couple more design ideas. And am still looking for more suggestions/comments. THX
I found a bracket for the keyboard level it is fully adjustable tilts and slides HERE
I am also considering laminating plexigalss between mdf for the top and lighting it with leds so the whole edge glows. Still looking for different leds.. any suggestions.
I am still deciding if I want the whole desk to be sit/stand or just the keyboard tray. I found adjustable legs for about $900 but am still looking into ways to make them myself..any suggestions..anyone using a sit/stand desk what do you think of them?
Thanks Scott
