Do you think they could enter any of these in the rural landscape challenge?
Its neat how they announced that they found water on mars.

They were all relocated to Venus.

Absolutely stunning to see these high quality shots from millions of miles away. Love the sunset shots and the Earth/Moon one.
Thanks for this Jaime. :D |

Very nice. The dust devils are amazing!
The Earth/moon shot is the most thought provoking.

The photos are awesome! I especially like the shot of the Phoenix Lander descending on its parachute, and the one of Phobos from the HiRISE camera.
It's amazing what humans can accomplish when they set their minds to it. I just hope I get to see people walking on mars some time before I die. The solutions to many of humanity̢۪s biggest problems lie somewhere out there. We just need to get out there and find them. Sitting here on Earth fighting each other for dwindling resources isn̢۪t the answer.

Awesome. A few of them might actually have done well at DPC in something other than a Mars Challenge. :P

Off topic -- Yea, much better to go to other planets and fight each other for their resources. . .Then, deplete those.
Stuff "out there" won't solve the problems, I'm afraid, only heighten and strengthen them. :) (Regardless, I do think I understand where you are coming from)
On topic -- those are cool pictures. |

I totally disagree. Perhaps you aren't aware of the countless benefits that we've already received from our rather meager space program. Many of the items that you use every day were developed for, or as a direct result of, the space program. Check these out:
Benefits of the Space Program
NASA Spinoffs - Bringing Space down to Earth
How does NASA technology affect your life?
Space Program Spinoffs
Are the answers to all of our problems out there? Perhaps not, but I'd willing to bet that we'll find more answers out there than we will with even larger welfare programs here on Earth.
