Agreed, but not a single credit in sight, which is NOT cool. |

I believe there are credit links with each image. Though a visible credit on the photo would have been better.

I followed some, but they just took me to a rather bizarre comment type thread, but no link to the original photographer. |

Ahhh...I wasn't aware of that. Thanks!

Right. NO credit is given; comments (in the "credit" thread) express great displeasure with the poster. |

Some pretty neat stuff there. Here's another site which post a selection of unique photos every day. Not always artistic photography, but always interesting in some way. //STATiC |

Also not credited. I DO find this increasingly annoying, and not merely on behalf of the photographer: I like knowing where a picture came from, or the possibility of knowing. It just seems cheap. |

Beat me to it. A couple others there look familiar too?
So, it seems like the whole purpose of this site is to share stolen stuff?

I don't think it is necessarily intended to be stealing images, but rather these are sites that entertain with interesting pictures. The stolen images may not have been directly lifted from DPC, but could have been found on another site that was displaying them. These things have a way of getting around. I don't think there are always intentions to blatantly rip off others, though it is sometimes the end effect.

I don't think so either. If you read the comments made to the guy who is posting most pictures (Jchip8), you'll see that he is being chastised for posting so many pictures AND for posting pictures that are obviously not his. Several people have been very direct and have told him to get his own camera (one person offered to buy him a camera). |
