This is a huge long shot, but worth a try.

I downloaded a song off of Bearshare ages ago on another computer. I had simply searched for a capella (under folk or bluegrass) music and instantly fell in love with this song. Have since been lost it a couple of computers ago, but it still rings in my head and I would love (need) to hear it... if not to hear it finally, then to finally get the parts of it out of my head and replace it with the finished version.

Anywho... here are the lyrics I remember. Keep in mind it's been almost ten years. Probably not a popular artist, but recorded sometime/somewhere. Ergo, a long shot, but if anyone knows, it's you guys. :)

Verse

"Here I am painting angels on the wall
To keep me company
Now that you have gone"

Chorus?
"And I know that it is true.
Every rainbow has it's blue"
?
?

[Something about dreaming about 'sheep jump broken fences']

Not expecting much... just throwing it out there...

Yeah, I dunno either. The google searches trying to find out were pretty entertaining, though. lol. It's just one of those songs that got away, I think.

Found the link to Serena Matthews and a lyric quote of "Here I am painting angels on my walls to keep me company now you have gone" at this site: homegrowngoodness.tripod.com/index2.htm. I followed the link to SerenaMatthews.com, but couldn't locate the lyrics with that verse.

OMG! It has to be... that name is so familiar! Thanks. Checking it out now...

ETA: definitely her. That's the voice I remember. Still no luck in finding that song online.
