The rest would probably make for a crappy wedding...but I was just cringing and waiting for the part where they said 'and for photography, we used Point and Shoots'

20K is considered a BUDGET wedding?!? get out!!!

and renting a fake cake for $145??? You can buy a wedding cake for that!

the article says "The most expensive part of a wedding is the reception with the average wedding cake costing $700."

I just bought a 2 tiered "wedding type" cake for my birthday party that served about 80 people and it costs me about $70.

They are talking about the costs of a NY wedding. I believe.

I did..think the 'fake wedding cake' thing was very lame.
