I just have a general question....this is my first challenge, and my photo is currently sitting at 4.570 with 170 votes and only 2 comments. Is this about an average response from the voters? I was really looking for feedback, but only 2 comments doesn't tell me much. What are the average scores like?

If it is for the orange challenge, and I assume it is, with close to 400 entries, I would think low comments are to be expected. Many people are just trying to get through the voting. Maybe, if several get finished, they may go back and leave comments.

Challenge history.

Every challenge is different. Some people will vote and comment and adjust scores during the weekend when they have the time.

If you have the time ,why not make some comments.

I did a calculation of the past 57 (random number) challenges, and the average score is roughly 5.228285965, or just 5.228.

It's worth noting that average for Open Challenges is significantly lower than for member challenges, too.
