There's a good chance of rain, even thunderstorms, tomorrow.
Bring your goulashes and umbrellas.
If it's raining though, I won't be making the trip.

It looked fine all week until now. It still shows good until about 2pm. So I guess we should do a check in the morning and see if its still worth it or not.
I was planning to pull out around 8am so I'll check the weather and post before 7:30 if I'm in or not.

OK I'm off to bed so I can get up at 5:00am and do a sun dance so we can all have a great day of shooting and getting to know each other.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. DPC ROCKS.
See you tomorrow Lea and Scott. Make sure you get lots of sleep and you have on your happy face in the morning :)~

Ok I've been doing my sun dance for 40 min now and I'm sure that there will be only overcast skies for the time were shooting so I hope to see you there.
I'm bringing bags for my camera and heading out.

I had an awesome time today. It was great getting to know you both some. So glad the weather held off too. Just got all my pics into the magical metal box thing and I'll find a way to get some posted. We should definitely do this again. Thx Scott

Well I'm sure glad I started this thread, so far I have met 3 wonderful DPCers and I hope to meet more. I still have to meet everyone on this site, but I think that might be a daunting task.
I'm always up for a challenge though.

Lea kashi Thank you for your text message today, Isaac was thrilled to get the luck sent out to him, he was grinning from ear to ear as he said "That was so nice of her and her family to be thinking about us when they only just met us yesterday"
Thank you Scott DarkRider for your well wishes too, again Isaac said that "You've met some pretty wonderful people on your site haven't you dad, they are so nice"
Everything went well today as far as we could tell, they were only supposed to be called for 3hrs of on camera time and worked for almost 5hrs. They took a lot of promotional shots for posters and the like. We were shown where they would keep "Cory's" wardrobe and where Isaac's dressing room would be, all the while referring to him as "Cory" and telling us that they'll "See us soon". So for now were playing it by ear and hopping for the best. This is a funny business and things can change in the blink of an eye.
Our Agent has a contract and we are in negotiations with the production company and the television networks, so cross everything you can and keep Isaac in your thoughts and hope for the best.
He's worked really hard and is praying he gets this spot, it looks like so much fun.

Still in the magical metal box thing under my desk. I'll have them up by the end of the week. I have to redo an entry for tonight. And then tomorrow I will be just WAY too stressed with DPC being down to even think of getting some photos posted. Thursday is well Thursday and nothing happens on Thursday. So maybe Friday...ya...Fridays good for me ;) |

I'll just have to hold you to that, Scott. I can't wait to see the photos of the heron (yes, colour me jealous - my 18-55 barely picked up a splotch at that distance, nothing identifiable at all).

Max, I am 90% sure that Jenny and I are coming up your way at the end of the month for the long weekend. Going to visit the outlaws! lol
The plan so far is to head up in the afternoon of the 29th and leave after dinner on the 1st.
So let me know if you'll have some time that weekend.
Any other Midland - Barrie - Orillia area DPCers available??????

Sorry Lea, we talked about it at the beginning of the month and just tonight got some details together. We should definitely plan another GTG. Maybe the ZOO! I haven't been in YEARS and never with a camera.

Hi Laura, your welcome to join us if/when your in the area. And you could always try getting your friends drunk! Then take your pics and then you could use those pics to blackmail them into letting you take more...MUAHHHHHHAHAHAHA!!! LOL |

ok, so where do I need to be at 8am on aug 31?
if you are already in midland I would suggest the Wye Marsh..great place to tramp around and find some birdies and animals...but maybe some other time.
So where on sunday?
