I'm pretty new here, so if I have put this in the wrong place, I'm truly sorry : )

I was just wondering if anyone had caught a image of the 5 planet lineup that is currently happening in the western sky at dusk? Its truly a rariety, and I know there are some super talented people with some pretty serious cameras, just wondering if anyone had caught it.

Info for any one curious, Venus, Saturn, Mars, Mercury and Jupitar are aligned in the sky at dusk to the west, a rariety, possibly a once in a lifetime occurence, and is visible to the naked eye...very beautiful to see.

See this thread. The planets are not all in the West; they span all the way across the ecliptic to Jupiter, which is about 15-20 degrees above the eastern horizon.

here is a pretty simple and easy to use sky chart.

Sky Chart

once you go to this page, click on the view skychart. you may need to enter in some info on your location and such, but its a great tool for quick references
