Hello,

I see that the Wii will play all of the old "Gamecube" games. Does anyone know if internet play will work with the gamecube games such as MarioKart?

I know that the new Mariokart can be played over the internet but will the old games take on this asset?

Thanks,

Kenskid

I do not know. But I am willing to go out on a limb and say no....considering they weren't programmed to do so..but I could be wrong.

That's what I thought...but I know that if you "network" two or more Gamecubes together and each cube has a separate disk then you can actually play up to 4 cubes with 4 players on each cube.

In my opinion this is the same as connect over the network via the internet..

Comments?

It's not. The game has to be coded for multiplayer over the internet. The GC games were not.
