So browsing online I came across someone selling an 18-200 for a pretty good price. Right now i have the d40x and the 18-55 and 55-200 which i switch and its a pain but i don't mind it that much. The quality in those lenses are excellent.

I was wondering what you guys think about switching both my lenses in for the 18-200. The only thing keeping me back is the distortions and loosing sharpness (which i READ online, hence why im coming here). Am i downgrading my quality just to get a little convenience?
