Not positive about the lyrics but I figured it'd get some people's attention nonetheless.
Got a friend interested in buying a video cam (Canon GL-2) but before he takes the plunge he wanted to interact with a community similar to this but with videography as its subject. Anyone familiar with such a beast? He's looking in other venues so I figured I'd hit you all up.
Thanks,
Kev

Creative Cow is a good starting point... They even have a Canon DV forum (among a ton of others related to video stuff).

A friend of mine was interested in a video camera, so I asked a friend of my mom's who is an independent video producer and acting coach. He recommended the Canon GL-2 as the best choice for anything other than just home movies. Says it has excellent image quality (3-chip sensor) and good glass, and is now about $1000 cheaper than what he paid for his a year or so ago.
He recommended CCI Camera City where it is currently $1440. |
