Well I wish this would have been here yesterday! It would have really helped out trying to get a shot of those darn FISH! Picked up a used Tamron 28-105 2.8 on ebay for less than 1/2 the new price listed on B&H & am SO HAPPY I did!
I've been using a tamron 28-300 3.5-6.3 & have become more critical of my own pics. Many pics looked soft even with careful use of a tripod & it was beginning to tick me off, so I grabbed this one to get a faster lens. After a run through the back yard for some sample pics, all I can say is WOW!!! What a difference! Here is one of the first pics with it of the first signs of spring here on Long Island...this was done handheld.
Of course now this means I need all new filters to go with it! lol
("but honey I NEED THEM!")
