I would say, that colored version is much warmer, but i cant say which one is better. I like both of them.
For the challenge, black and white is better fit. |

I think I prefer the color version. The colors are very subdued and work well with the leading lines of the image. The black and white version is also very nice but has a bit too much gray for me - I'd like to see it with some dodging and burning to vary the tonal range. (But then, of course, it would not have fit within the basic editing parameters.) Either way, it's compositionally a very strong image.
