Microsoft has a RAW viewer to download but its not exactly portable. However its small enough (47 MB) to install easily:

yea its excellent, and also a great viewer for clients.im messing with it now, nice interface...not lightroom or aperature worthy, but it does its job nicely, also its nice that all you do is install it to your harddrive takes up like 9MB and you can run it on Win95 / Win98 / WinME / WinNT / Win2K / WinXP / Vista so a fairly large range....i love it
