Just got an interesting e-mail... Fox TV is asking my permission to use one of my groundhog photos during the Major League Baseball game next month. They have some sort of running joke related to the use of a "Gopher Cam" during Nascar events, and I guess they're going to invent a "Punxsutawney Phil Cam" or some such thing.
I talked to the guy on the phone a bit ago, and he said that the piece could air at any time during the game, or possibly not at all depending on the pace of the game. He said that since this "gopher cam" idea came from the chairman of the company, he strongly suspects it'll be used, though!
Soooo if you see a photo of a groundhog during the broadcast, it should be my shot. |

Yeah, there's some weird karma between me and baseball, I guess! This won't be quite as lucrative as the Chevy deal ($0 to be precise) but cool nonetheless :)
