shoot with a cousin of mine whos graduating grade 9.... comments please.

Great shots! I think you (and your cousin) benefitted from your model bailout. Left a couple comments.

Who needs a model. Your cousin is beautiful and appears to be very comfortable in front of the camera. Theses are my favs.

Mainly because she is looking at the camera. You did a great job with the lighting. I'm not crazy about the background and lighting in the photos were she is wearing the white outfit. (She also doesn't seem as enthusiastic in those photos)

I'm curious as to what lens and settings you used?

The lens I use is the Sigma 28-105mm f/2.8-4.0 Aspherical for Nikon Of course i shot with my new d300 (have a wedding this saturday and i need to get it underhand quick) I've got a small basement studio with 4 Alien bees; one for fill, 2 on each side at about 45 degrees for mains (one brighter than the other depending on what side the model is facing) and the last for backdrop or hair.

BTW I shoudl add that that there are almost straight out of camera... I still need to do ssome BG work on the ones with the wrinkles blus BG :)

If only ser mother wasn't moving her to another province... should world make a great model.... ah well
