I need a little help...when I print from my epson, its printing darker than what is on my screen. My screen is calibrated, I make sure of that. What can I do???

Have you calibrated the printer? Yep, you need to to that and do it for every paper type you use too. Some papers are brighter than others, or absorb ink differently etc. You may be able to find a profile for your printer/paper combo but a custom profile via calibration is the way to go. And if you're not using standard epson inks an off the shelf profile will be useless as inks vary as much as paper.

I gave up trying to make my own prints a long time ago. I use a lab and if things aren't right it's they're problem to fix it.

Everything is epson, paper, ink. I learned my lesson a long time ago about that. But how do I calibrate the printer? My printing has been fine up until today. And the prints are for myself...for right now.

It sounds like you have your monitor brightness turned up to high and you are adjusting your images based on what you are seeing. Back when I first used a Spyder to calibrate my monitor, I was surprised at how much it had me turn the brightness down and at first my screen looked dark. But my prints started matching what I was seeing and after awhile I got use to a dimmer looking monitor. Now it looks normal to me and most other non-calibrated monitors look to bright.
