Its still early after the game-- But reflecting-- these last two games were just amazing-- so much fun to watch! So intense!
I really think these last 2 games go down against any sport, any finals, as being the best I have ever seen

I wish they had won yesterday while still at home...I hate hearing all the boos from the crowd. Hell, they probably couldn't care less, right? |

I don't see the need to boo. I hate that they are doing that. |

Not to sound biased, but I really do think we have decent fans here. Having been to many Steelers games here and out of town, I've come to realize that we're surprisingly civil toward opposing teams. |

Is that because you send all the bad apples to Philadelphia?

I have to agree with you. And to make this an even greater compliment, remember I'm a Detroit-born gal. The Pittsburgh fans were actually pretty darned nice. Much much better than the Philadelphia fans, IMO.
Congrats Pittsburgh on a great run.
Oh my goodness ... I posted this without seeing Yanko's response, LOL!!

Two problems with basketball, the home team wins 99% of the time and 3/4ths of every game is just filler (i.e. the 4th quarter is all that matters). There is only so much a cool dunk can make up for.

Sorry Buzz...we've got company and I was busy watching the game while those two idiots talked stocks....zzzzzzzz! My computer is at the other end of the house from the TV! But I was thinkin' 'bout ya! ;)
Pro basketball has never been a fave of mine...they travel, they cheat and it's a squeaky, boring game, lol! Instead, we get three months to hear about all of the "convicts" Dallas Cowboys have/are getting and how they have kept TO and his damn fumble fingers! (That's another one that wears me out....)
I think they all had ZOOM whitening before the start of the last period, lol! |

I've been working out of the country for the last few weeks ... and actually found it quite easy to find the game on TV! I was totally excited that we got the cup back in Hockeytown and bummed that I wasn't home to party and celebrate with friends ... GO WINGS! There was no doubt that we'd be bringing the cup home again ... |

No doubt indeed. I never felt so confident the Wings would bring home the cup in previous finals.
Still, you really have to hand it to Fleury. What a remarkable young goalie! Then Pens probably would have been easily blown out in 4 without him (rather, they wouldn't have even been in the finals without him).
Nice capture Bob, and the first real photo in this thread.

Back in Hockeytown? The cup is going to spend most of it's time in Sweden. :P
