Full challenge details:

"Photograph something representative of a cowboy this week.

In honor of Sean Michael Matos."

Might be a good thing to put in the challenge details who this is about, because when I first went to Google to find something it turned up nothing. Very confused about this I only later found out about the sad passing of Sean Michael Matos.
Not everyone reads all the forum posts.

If you click on the link in the challenge details (his name is linked), it takes you to the thread telling of his passing.

Living in UK, Cowboys have a different meaning, usually refering to people in the building trade that are not qualified.

For the honour of Sean I will find a Cowboy here somewhere, somehow.

For those unfamiliar with JawnyRico's cowboys:

This will be fitting tribute to a fine young man.

So - where am i going to find a cowboy in Warwickshire... hrmmm... a horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse...
06/02/2008 08:38:31 AM · #16
I am sure it does not have to be an actual cowboy, you could do things that are associated with him cowboy wise

in this challenge everybody goes to win...

We can be cowboys just for one day
We can be cowboys forever and ever.

Moito Obrigado, Jawny.

Unfortunately, that means your votes will be scrubbed automatically and won't count for anything.

What if nobody (not nobody) votes at all, then what happens? maybe we should ALL just leave a comment and respects to Sean.
06/02/2008 10:52:41 AM · #22
I might suggest this be a non-voting challenge - simply a tribute and comments can be left, but no votes. Don't know if that's possible, though.

No, really Larus, you don't have to enter if you don't have time.
It's okay to be busy. The rest of us don't mind.

I think that is a great idea... comments, but no votes!
