I just got back from the Detroit/Windsor Red Bull Air Race. Here are some of the better shots i got with my 28-420mm "P&S".
Minimal editing done, crop and rotate mostly. All comments welcome.
Hopefully we'll see some more pics from other members.

Great shots...don't be afraid to tighten your crop on these as well. You can get some amazing details for a plane going 235mph. These are a few from the Red Bull Air Race in San Diego.

Some nice shots here, in tricky conditoins. No 7 is probably my favorite, the density of the backround is consistant enough to make the plane pop, while keeping the fact that this is taking place in an urban setting clear. Some of the others have such complex backrounds that it makes the action tough to make out.
These things are fun to shoot, here is my favorite ot the shots that I got a few years ago.
