Going back through some old photos, maybe I should have reshot this one for parallel lines? ( I KNOW they are not a perfect parallel. My thought is that the strength of the image comes from the uniqueness of the straightness of this grove of trees and the impression of parallel - even if not perfect. How stong that strength is, I don't know.)

I think that picture would have done very well. I would have given that about an 8. And even though they are not perfect parallel lines, they are more parallel than a good majority of the pictures in the challenge.

i agree with rob. nice photo. the parallel in nature is a bit more interesting and challenging.

I have another photo of this grove of trees that I really like better- taken more from a "looking up" perspective. I thought the parallel factor was more evident in this one though.

A 7/8 from me as it stands. Work a bit more on contrast and picking out textures and it would be an 8/9 maybe even a 10!
