Day 17 @ 50mm
Inspired by  sittingonthegrass today, I went out during lunch and shot my first flower ever. After taking a bunch of shots, I thought I would have a couple to choose from. But as I started to look them over at home this evening, I quickly realized they were terrible. The best one of the bunch is below and the flower is dead. I think I will stick to weapons and scary mask! Enjoy.

I've been a little distracted by some medical crap the last few days, but everything is cool, at least for another six months, so I will try to get back on regular track. And especially I'll be catching up with the comments...I see lots of cool stuff!
A lovely little volunteer mimosa growing through the fence at work...sometimes lack of maintenance is a good thing:
