I saw some Poweriser (PowerStrider) videos on YouTube, and found the website, GetJumpingStilts.com.
I was thinking that if I can lose another 60 pounds I might buy a pair as a treat. My main worry is that I'm 42 years old, and I had ACL (knee) surgery about ten years ago after a skiing accident.
I was wondering if anybody here has some, how old you might be, how much torque (twist) thay put on your knees, how much impact they put on your knees, how you like them etc.
Maybe I should just stick with my in-line skates?

Make sure your wife is there, camera in hand, when you first learn to use them. |

It's not the slip that worries me, it's the crack afterwords. :-)

My wife isn't being very supportive. She pretty much said I'd have to go somewhere very far away to use them so I wouldn't embarrass her. I thought I'd already embarrassed her so much in life that she was desensitized to it. :-/
