In the open challenges are we allowed to use the "replace color" function in photoshop? I realize it's on that fine line because you can select a single color and adjust that hue/saturation but I'm not sure and I dont want to break the rules. Thanks in advance.

I would say no, because to get the most benefits you would have to use the eye dropper tool, but let's wait for site council. |

I think the eyedropper tool counts as a selection tool. There are various ways to affect certain colors only using adjustment layers, but the effect has to be applied to the whole image. I'm not real familiar with this technique though, so you might still wait for more opinions. In the meantime, I'd assume it is illegal until conclusively stated otherwise. |
