Well, I don't like earthquakes! If Art can keep them away it might be worth it... kinda.... maybe.... almost....

Somehow this is not what I expected when I opened this thread...

Yeah, it was not a good day to live in Selfoss or Hveragerði yesterday, a lot of property and interior damages but fortunately no serious injuries to people, a couple of broken arms and toes but nothing serious. We all know we live on a seizmic area so the building codes here are very strict and thus the buildings are very well constructed so they can handle stuff like this.

hey Larus... I see your "tower of ribbons" didn't affect by the quake... still standing tall not even a crack... What do we need to knock that one down, 8.5? 9.9?

Thanks for posting Larus :o) Although we've made a fair few jokes in this thread I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we were really a little bit concerned ;o) Good to know you guys are all ok :o)

Now, don't suppose the quake managed to change darkness to light and rule you all out of the night sky challenge did it? ;o)

Not due to the quake, but I don't think that they are getting that much night sky this time of year.
