I believe a while back someone was disqualified for removing a speck from an image which was deemed to not be sensor dust since it was not black. I have encountered and documented a different type of sensor "dust" which in fact appear white, oil.
I found this little problem on no less than 100 shots I took last week but didn't notice.
I want to know is this legal to remove in basic, if not then I would like a reason since dark dust removal is allowed, and oil is harder to just blow off the sensor before a shoot.
If it is not legal may I please request the council review the thought of making it so, it may be a rare problem but someone shouldn't be disqualified just because their dust isn't dark imho.
Thank you for your time.

I had a cat stuck inside my lens and I asked if it was legal in basic to clone it out. It was, but I had to show them a couple of shots with the cat hair stuck in there, best bet is to ask and show them before shots |

Either you have a really big lens or a really small cat...

Trust me the amount of hair that was stuck inside that camera was disgracful. I am not sure if it was the cat or Karma (Bears Dog) but someone is going very bald around here |
