I tried that. I tried clicking my heels together and wishing hard, too. Nothing worked.

Don't ask me. I'm still trying to figure out how to reply.

I believe everyone is missing the first important step in starting a new thread.

One FIRST Must do a search to find out how many other threads there are on the same topic, avoid reading them, but reference saying you did and could not find the answers. Than ask for the same help that has already been given in the previous thread topics.

Hi Alan, the best way is to put your mouse over the `community` menu item at the top of the screen, when the box drops down click `forums`. You then click on the forum you think is most appropriate for the subject you wish to talk about and you will find a button that says "new topic", click on that and you should be able to post..

Alternatively a shortcut would be to press ALT and F4 together as the Site Admin have set that up as a shortcut to the forums page..

Step 1: Snip off the end of the thread with scissors. This will give you a clean piece of thread to use, making it easier to thread the needle.

Step 2: Hold the needle between your thumb and index finger on your left hand while holding the thread in your right hand. If you're left-handed, hold the needle with your right hand and the thread with your left.

Step 3: Bring the thread slowly through the eye of the needle. Once the thread is through the needle, pull it down on the other side to the desired length.

Step 4: Tie a knot at the end of the thread so it won't be pulled through the fabric while sewing. To make sure the knot is large enough, tie 2 knots at the end of the thread in the same place.

For the record, Slippy and I categorically deny any truth to the rumor that Mr. Pants is our illegitimate love child. If my research is accurate, Mr. Pants was adopted by Mama Pants when he was just a pair of briefs. His parents put him right to work picking lint out of dryer screens until they had enough to give birth to his sister, Miss Sweater. Sadly, Mr. Pants never attended school and therefore never learned how to start a new thread. He is very sensitive about his geneology and his lack of education, so when he shows up back here, pretend like he's really smart, but talk r e a l l y s l o w.

Just for the record, I'd like to state that I am really smart.

Hold on, why is everyone talking so slowly?

O.k., I have my thick glassed hornrimmed specs on and I still read the title of this thread as being "How Do I Start a New Threat". I thought, well that'll no problem answering ;-)
Please talk to me s l o w l y from now on too....
