how about another expert editing challenge haven't seen one in a while and would love to participate it one.
idea for a expert editing challenge could be:
future
science
mythology
superheroes
magic
monsters
danger
I don't know just throwing it out there. |

Just a technicality, but we'll probably never see another challenge run under the older "Expert" rules, since some of that was rolled into Advanced. We very well may see an occasional challenge with completely "open" editing rules, though; that rule set has yet to be defined. There would still be a very few restrictions, of course, like the artwork rule and the date rule, for instance. |

yeah I read that a while back I thought I would just beat a dead horse for fun while I'm bored. I was told once if you beat a dead horse long enough it will come back to life. |

At the risk of sounding heretical I have a suggestion...
Process your pictures to meet your own expectations for what you want from them.
Should an image "meet the challenge" and fit into the arbitrary rule set for a particular challenge then go ahead and enter it.
If not, then don't enter it. But never compromise your artistic goals.

i thought the main difference between expert and advanced was that with expert you could combine any elements of any pictures taken within the time frame of the challenge, and with advanced you can't.
If i'm right, that's a pretty big difference. |
