Not sure if this is much interest to anyone but I was looking up info and location on a waterfall I saw in a magazine and came across this World Waterfall site, kinda interesting... :)
The name is a little miss leading but pretty good info for western Canada and upper western states by the looks of it.

Since there aren't a lot of wireless connections out in the wilderness I use a 'brick and mortar' text called, "Waterfall Lover's Guide to the Pacific Northwest".
It contains over 500 named waterfalls in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. (and there aren't a lot in Idaho) :) Not only that but it has pictures and information about each one. The author has hiked to all of them.
Louddog's online reference has more waterfalls listed but the author of 'Lover's Guide' has hiked to all the ones in his text.

I've seen Japanese websites showing waterfalls by prefecture. Of course, the links were on my dead computer... ;-Þ |
