1) We don't disclose the reasons for DQ requests
2) If your photo is DQ'd, we will tell you why
3) This photo was not taken within the allowable dates for this challenge.
4) The admins/SC have already taken action, so any further musings on how to deal with this situation are purely for entertainment purposes only .... |

The rules you agree to say you will send it "if requested." There are no conditions on the term "requested." The point of having a Site Council is to have a defined list of people who all the members know will be dealing with this stuff. The membership's role in enforcing the rules is to request verification of truly suspiciously-executed photos, or submit links to entries posted elsewhere outside of the allowable dates or by someone other than the DPC member. |

I don't agree. A high score here doesn't necessarily mean a better photo than a lower score. There are so many fine entries which don't appeal to the popular vote.

Of course! That's why I left it open. I just didn't want your efforts to be under false pretenses.
And I agree -- any photo deserving of DQ should be, regardless of ranking. |
