While I'm very happy with my 5th place finish, I wonder if this one would have been the better choice. What do you think?

Kris,
While your outtake has incredible focus on the subject's eyes I still think that your original submission is the more attractive presentation of your lovely model. I know I voted for it to be in the top 3.

I much prefer your entry, Kris. I think it's nicely balanced and with a professional quality.
The shot above looks a tad over-smoothed? As a couple of people mentioned in your comments - I'm not keen on your borders. I'd have been tempted to add maybe a 10-16px white border around the outside of the shot, not in it. |

I gave your entry a clear 10. This outtake is very good as well, I like the seductive element, it is less neutral, but I don't like the brown negative space on the left.
