So... you know how it is when your great-aunt wants you to sit down and watch slides of her trip to the Florida Everglades? Well, just pretend I'm your great-aunt... Heh. But I went to southern Germany (also known as Bavaria) and to Vienna, Austria. No swamps, but cool castles and stuff. I highly recommend Bavaria - neat places, gorgeous scenery, excellent food. Vienna is lovely but very touristy. Everything is "No cameras" and I heard/saw more Americans there than anywhere I've been so far outside of the American posts/bases here. Stuff's a wee bit pricey, but if you like doing the tourist thing, there's plenty of it to do. I did indeed take some pictures - they're in this month's folder if you're bored.

Nope, that's a rest stop on the way back from Garmisch to Mainz. :-)

i did a little research and found that i was not exactly wrong with my guess, because the rest stop was designed by Hundertwasser (alias Friedrich Stowasser), who was a multi-talented artist and architect from austria.

Deb, Deb, Deb. That's on the list of "most likely to be ignored" topic titles along with "Photos of my kid" and "Check out my cat" - try something like "HOLY CRAP you won't believe this!!" or "Does this photo make my breasts look too big?" and add an "NSFW" to really attract the viewers. ;-) If it wasn't you who posted, I mighta walked right on by.

Now I'm off to check out your, um, vacation photos. :)

Very cool! And it is an amazing place to stop, by the way.

Art, dear, they ARE vacation photos. There are a few boobs if you look hard enough... :-) And I do have one of a naked guy I didn't post. He's hard as a rock. Well, he IS a rock. I'll stop now. (Does that make the thread NSFW, by the way?)

Now we're talkin! That'll get yer views cranked up. I'm squinting as we speak.

And yes, your last remarks should get you an NSFW, if not banned from the site. ;-)

Seriously though, I looked through half of them - really interesting places and well captured.
