Here is the modified version of my entry in Soft FocusIV. I kindly welcome any suggestions for further improvements.

I forgot to mention this image is not soft focused. Don't see this image from that aspect.I want to improve this image with your kind feedback.

Can his soft submission be disqualified post voting..... he admits to using guassian blur and he took 7th place, meaning he did not take a soft photo at all, just photoshopped one.

I wasnt part of soft but I think this is wildly unfair to those behind him

I do believe guassian blur is legal in basic. Mute issue....

You did desat didn't you? I'm not crazy about it but the detail you captured in the hands is really good. Good balance--shadows maybe a little heavy on the RH side.

Gaus blur is a legal and accepted(mostly) way to replicate soft focus. Some would argue that GB isn't as authentic as other methods, but seems OK to me.

Eta: I prefer your entry FWIW.

Thanks for your good comment. Sorry for my ignorance but I didn't understand "FWIW"
OK got it does it means "For What It's Worth"?

There is a saying "don't jump on conclusion otherwise conclusion will jump on you.." Never mind. I know it happens. Earlier I misread the rules too & missed my two ribbons, it's really painful. Now I am paying more attention on the rules.

I do like this version. You can however see a slight line around the hands where the selection was made. Dont know if that is me being really picky and whether most people would notice it or not.

Thank You Monique64. Actually I wanted to add a golden light glow below the hands. Should I further add or remove it completely?
