Hey all, for the best results should I let the camera noise reduction software run it's course, or should I leave the in camera on low or none, and then use something like NeatImage to clean it up? Thanks.

On the D300, IMHO, low is best for most applications and off for monochrome. If you use NX then the in camera NR is the same you can just fine tune the NR in raw after words if you want.

I prefer to do it in software, where I have more control over it.
