-people ask you why you have a 70-200 2.8 on an Xti and talk down to you about it?

been there, had that happen.

except mine was on a 300D with a silver body.

blech on them, is all i can say. :)

Sage advice: Good glass always outlasts bodies. Buy the good glass first. Upgrade the bodies later.

Sounds like you're on the right path to me. :-)

that was my thinking thnks to this place i bought more glass than shooting powwer but, yea the mom thing is a whole nother story...
