Hi i'm hoping you can help with this.
I have been trying to produce an image like the one in the link, but with no luck. like this one i tried it using an incense stick, but i just couldn't get any impact on my photo, any ideas

use a flash from the side and put a black cardboard or similar behind it to prevent its light from spilling onto the black background.
