Jedi Temple Attached by Darth Vader

(Darth Vader) claimed he couldn't remember the incident, having drunk the better part of a 2 1/2-gallon box of wine beforehand.

This was an interesting tidbit as well:
In the 2001 United Kingdom census, 390,000 ΓΆ€” 0.7 percent of the population ΓΆ€” listed Jedi as their religion.

Hmmm...

The fact that he used a crutch as a weapon makes me think he may have had previous run-ins with cheap wine.

Yep there was a tongue-in-cheek campaign over here to get people to state Jedi as their religion - it says something about us Britons that 390,000 people obliged!

Yup - loved that. Isnt there some law that if enough of us stated it in the census it would have to be listed in the governments own proclaimation of state official religions? :)

I read this to my son (HUGE Star Wars fan) and he laughed like a hyenia. While I do think that believing in SOMETHING is better than believing in nothing, I think the harmonious ideas of the Jedi in the movie series may at least keep some people in line :) hehe

Thanks for sharing!! I busted a GUT!!

Not if the dark side has become powerful enough to cloud their vision!

True but they should have at least felt 'a disturbance in the force' and if they couldn't in the end fend of one drunk guy, then they can't truly be called Jedi Masters :)

The pen is mightier than the sword, questionable.
The crutch is mightier than the saber, undoubtedly.

Clearly he should have been jailed, the court didn't have all the evidence: Darth Vader can't get drunk, the system keeping him alive filters alcohol out.
