I have a hot shoe to PW cable for my 430EX and the setup isn't functioning.

The cable is brand new and the skyports work because I tested them with my Sunpak 383 Super.

The only thing I see is that the sync cable for the sunpak's plug is just slightly longer than the plug on the 430 EX sync cable.

Anyone have any ideas or could you link to a sync cable/other adapter that would work for my 430EX?

Can I cut the plug off the hot shoe to pw cord and splice on one of the plugs that came with the skyports?
