Nikon seems to work in tiers of service.
A few years ago I had a whole bunch of stuff replaced in my D100, and it was something like $350. They didn't seem to know exactly what was causing the problem I was having (blank shots being fired every so often), so they replaced the shutter, CCD, and a number of other major things. But it was at that particular "tier" of service, so it cost me the $350-ish.
I think the $350-ish is one of the higher tiers; there's other stuff that's done at a lesser range. I would think that the shutter replacement alone will probably land you in the $350-ish range, though.
Again, this was a few years back, so their prices may be different nowadays, and maybe they do things differently now. But I'm pretty sure they just have different levels of service, rather than quoting different prices for specific repairs.
