So I have CS3 and a "Dunk Load" of RAW photos from a wedding... what is the easiest way to convert them all to Jpeg for the client? I need to convert them so that they can view them on their 'puter and get them printed at a printshop. I also have Lightroom. Funny I have the power of Thor with all of the equipment and programs I own and the knowledge of a beach rock to use them.

Lightroom is the key.

Process them, weed out the good ones (if allowed) and then in the LIBRARY module use the EXPORT function.

aw man - Lightroom is your FRIEND!!!

Choose 'File', 'export', then select details such as constrain size, export location, renaming options, JPG compression..... freaking easy as pie, and fast, and fantastic.

I've used it on every single order since receiving LR, and have not regretted it for one second. The ONLY thing you have to do is have the images you want selected (whatever number of files that may be), be sure to be working with your final (print ready) images, and walk away!

I've easily set 100 files to export, walked to the kitchen for a small snack, came back & they were DONE. Uploading to the web takes longer... and there are LR plugins that will automatically upload to several online hosts, if you like!

Good luck. Heck, if ya have any questions, just PM me & I'll call you & walk you through it.

Billy
