I will be going to on an extensive vacation and I dont want to take my laptop along. Can anyone suggest a nice size portable HD where I can store my images from my CF cards?

That's a nice price for one with a viewer. I've got the flashpac which is nice for just storage, but you have to connect to a computer to view images.
You can usually find them used on ebay for cheap (I got mine for about $65 for 60GB). There's an 80GB version up right now for $100 on a BIN, but it closes in 20 minutes (but will no doubt be relisted). (Not my auction, btw) |

HyperDrive Colorspace w/o harddrive @ $199 add your own laptop harddrive if you have one lying around. Might have to upgrade myself with a price like that :)
I like that they are using li-ion battery now with an add-on AA battery pack.

This should do nicely, but it's only 80GB.
I use a 12" (100GB) iBook and this little baby.
Faidoi's option may appeal to you more. Here's a reputable review.
