A little advice would be greatly appreciated. I am ready to buy a new lens for my S2 (Nikon compatible lenses.) The focal length of the DX 18-70mm is exactly what I am looking for, but I would like something that has VR and a larger aperture (smaller Fstop number) to help on low light situations.

Does anyone know if Nikon has a lens planned for this range that is similar to the 70-200 VR version they have? I've been searching the web, to no avail.
