Easy, a word that comes to mind and brings a lot of baggage with it.
As a child, the word "easy" is said frequently. Because, as a child, there is no comparison to what is 'hard'.
"I can count to 100, Dad, it's easy", "I brushed my teeth, it's easy", "I can ride my bike, it's easy".
As an adult, the word "easy" takes on a whole different meaning. As a matter of fact, the word easy as an adult really doesn't play any more. Because, as an adult, we have comparisons to what is hard. As an adult, we have to make choices to hard situations, and to hard questions.
As an adult, the word 'easy' is really replaced with words like 'smart', 'choice', 'lazy', and 'result'.
We still use the word easy in our daily lives as adults because of the experiences we had as children.
"It wasn't easy, but, I saved my money to buy that camera", " We can work smart, or we can work hard", "I wish it was easier, but, I had to choose between gasoline, or milk", "Do you think it's easy being a single parent on a fixed income?".
