well, prom is in the air, and i was doing this photo for one of my friends, and i dislike how it turned out, as a 8x10, the photo dosnt look as vibrant as it dose if it were the size i made it to be, 6666x5000 i dont know what that comes out to be, but i know its massive, so im wondering if anyone has any suggestions here is my final edit of the photo

ps, its composed of two shots, one is a close up from her arms up, and the other was zoomed out to get her full dress, then the dress was blown up to fit the body of the close up, thats why its so big:) but it sure looks nice close up, a whoppin 1.25gb tiff:P

Or go for more dramatic. . .



Tones adjust using the onOne Phototools, but most of the changes was through the use of the virtual photographer filter, Ambiance on a separate layer with opacity at about 20%. Then, go back with a layer mask and paint out the effect on the head area.

Just my quick 2 cents. :)

Nice shot, BTW. You did a great job on the composite.
