I have decided to do this photo as a large 20x26 piece for an upcoming art show. This particular shot really shows nice crisp detail in larger sizes.

My question to you...with text or without? My gut feeling is to have it without. If you do like text, which version do you prefer? Thanks!

I much prefer it without text. It's a great photo, and I think the text is a bit distracting.

If you must have text 677420 is the most pleasing to me.....

If you were doing a postcard I would say the one with the cursive writing... but for an art show? Go with your gut; no text.

I prefer the one with text, the first one, (I marked it on the image)
Then my second choice would be without text.
The big blocky text is distracting from the image on the other 2.

Just my opinion, but I think it depends what you are doing w/it.

If you are selling posters, I like the text on the first one (italics in the upper right).

If you are exhibiting a single framed print, I'd prefer no text.

Personally, if you are going to have text, it would best be placed on a 2x4 inch piece of white paper below the photo.

Personally, text says poster or Walmart print to me. There's nothing wrong with that.
Without text and framed and matted well says art to me. Its not better but it serves a different purpose.

Just a thought.

Okay...that is my thinking as well, as since this is to be framed and sold at an art show, I will go without the text.

Thanks to all who have chimed in!

You can also have a black border with the text at the bottom with a cursive font.

no text if it's art.

No text, the photo speaks for itself. If anyone has a question about it, they can always ask:)
