Anyone having problems with these?
They are brand new and DOING NOTHING. Everything is charged up and set correctly and the flash won't fire. I've got a 430EX on a hot shoe to pocket wizard adapter plugged into the receiver. The test button doesn't fire the flash and neither does the shutter.
How do I test to see if the transmitter is working? |

You hit the test button and the other PW has a red led which will light up.
Sounds like you may have the wrong connection adaptor between the pw and your hot shoe. I did. Looked right, fit right, wasn't right. Had to take it back. YMMV. |

I don't have any pocket wizards. I have skyports.
I have the right cord. |

Check the battery in the transmitter, I've heard some are upside down on shipment. |

Or check that the batteries don't have barely visible thick cellophane wrapped around it. I had the same thing happen when I bought some of those cheap Cactus triggers when my first ST-E2 went south. I couldn't figure out why my flashes wouldn't fire either. |

omg ive been waiting my whole life to say this...
told you so!
on another note... try to get just one light working (its what we do when we have toruble)
and once you get that just slave it off the working one...usually gets the jobb done... also make sure all the chords are pluged in tight and make sure youre channels match |

Can't help you if you're just going to get hung up in trivial details. |
