I know people have been discussing the orphan bill
(for anyone who doesn't know, see here and here)
But PLEASE check out his site where you can write an email to your own congressman!! :0)

I found this little scrappet of information about the results of the vote today. I haven't been able to dig anything else up confirming it.
Bill Passes Subcommittee
Apparently the bill "sailed" through the Judicial Committee's subcommittee. In a crash course on how laws are made via the house.gov website, I learned this is the "markup" phase. "Markup" phase
The next step is voting on it by the House Judiciary Committee so it's not too late to voice your opinions. According to the website, how the Committee votes is usually the most important.
You can still make you opinion known by doing nothing more than typing in your personal information here (you can also customize it). It's all prepared and emails it to your representatives for you. Just scroll down to the photographers section.
