I just had this brilliant idea!
Let's have a DPC g2g at a phillies game! Of course this is more just to hang out, but it could be a ton of fun!
Anyone interested?

This is to hang out, not to do photography.

Good point......I'd rather watch paint dry than watch a bunch of tobacco-spitting middle-aged men wander around.
I would however, enjoy getting crowd pictures and seeing DPCers.
Wandering around in an abandoned prison with a camera is MUCH more fun!......8>)

Guess I'll put in my 2 cents too, lol, I hate pro baseball. I'd much rather watch kids play. I usually do a happy medium with friends at the Camden Riversharks once a year or so, at least there's stuff for my son to do there. |

I was thinking, but until you said no camera. If you have something with cameras, and someplace other than game, I am in. or whenever you have something like that, let me know :) |

You know it's an interesting concept to have a GTG without cameras. DPC is a social group as much as anything else. So why all the negativity to this idea? I would have no problem going to a ball game with some DPCers and not having a camera with me. On the other hand I wouldn't go anywhere without a camera, but I could go to an event/gathering and not have a camera be my only focus. There are plenty of opportunities to go shoot pics as a group so why not have a social gathering where we can feel that we don't have to shoot every second that we are together? Are there any DPC members in the Philly area that would want to have a social gathering sometime soon where we can relax and get to know each other? |

If its baseball, I'm in. I've been dying for an excuse to go to the new ballpark. Well, new to me... |

I'd like to go if the date works!
I was just there this past Saturday. Luckily it started to rain after the game. It was my first time to a Phillies game and we sat way up top a little left of home plate. I'm not a big baseball fan, but I do enjoy going to games. I would probably fall asleep if I were watching it on TV. I took over 200 picts with my little camera, so hopefully I'll post some in my portfolio. I wouldn't mind going again, especially since I stayed in my seat for most of the game. I would like to go and roam around the park the next time. Going to an evening game was great except for it taking 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot:( Oh yeah, the Phillies lost :( |
